Magico is designed from the measurements and one photo of the real Andalusian stallion, "Magico".

"Magico" was a beautiful stallion that Nigel used to shoe in the U.K. and the Andalusian is Nigel's favourite breed.

Everything you see has been hand cut, hot forged, shaped and welded by Nigel.

Magico took nearly 600 hours to build. 

This sculpture has been displayed at the Marriot Hotel in Lexington; the International Museum of the Horse at the Kentucky Horse Park; the Bluegrass Stockyards in Lexington; Campbell House Hotel, Lexington; International Hoof Care Summit in Cincinnati; International Liberty Horse Association Festival at the Kentucky Horse Park; and the Road to the Horse Festival at the Kentucky Horse Park.

Magico was created with:
* 213 old farrier rasps
* 102 old half round blacksmith files
* 5.5 meters of scaffolding pipe
* 1.5 square meters of chainmail
* 1.5 square meters of 3mm steel plate
* 6 bike chains
* 4 feet of 5inch 3mm pipe
* 24 meters of 25x3mm flat steel bar
* 8 meters of galvanized rope
* 2 bike gear wheels
* Numerous forged concave horseshoe lengths, flat and round section.

Magico is on a frame with wheels to enable maneuverability.

The inside of his body has been rust proofed and painted with three layers of black metal anti-rust paint. After Magico was completed, he was sandblasted before rustproofing him with a professional oil and clear varnish.

Magico: El Espíritu de Acero - The Spirit of Steel. He is a legend in metal, muscle in motion, a singular echo of the stallion that inspired him.
